Tips For Getting Pregnant Fast

Some Tips To Get Pregnant Fast

When you are ready to conceive and start your family planning, then you need to understand the factors which will help you get pregnant faster instead of just leaving it on luck. Some couples conceive very easier while others take more time to conceive. You can’t always predict and confirm pregnancy by any method but some little changes may maximize your chances of conceiving. Let’s talk about some of the expert tips that may help you get pregnant faster:

TIMING OF YOUR MAKING LOVE

Some women know well about their cycle and fertile window, while others do not. In general, if you have a 28-days cycle, then you ovulate around the 14th day i.e. around midpoint of your cycle but some may ovulate at different time of their cycle. You can also use apps or ovulation kits to keep track of when you are ovulating. When you ovulate, your BBT (basal body temperature) will increase slightly and your vaginal discharge i.e. mucus gets thick and cloudy. These signs and symptoms also help you get to know when you are ovulating. You are most fertile at this point and have the highest chance to conceive.

When you are ovulating, a mature egg is released from your ovary and gets to the uterus through the fallopian tube. That mature egg has only 12-24 hours to get fertilized, whereas sperm can survive for around 5 days inside the female reproductive track after having sex. So by having sex as close as you are to ovulating can increase your chances of getting pregnant.

FREQUENCY OF HAVING SEX

Many couples believe that having sex every day will increase their chances of pregnancy, but it’s a myth. It actually decreases the quality of the sperm. While other couples believe that to have sex only during ovulation works best, but it’s also a misconception. As it may increase sperm count but it decreases sperm motility. So it doesn’t go well either way. Some women enjoy tracking their ovulation time while others get nervous or anxious just by thinking about it, so the best recommendation is to have sex regularly after 1-2 days either you are ovulating or not. Just free up your mind and have sex 3-4 times a week. This will also make your sex more enjoyable. And one more thing, if you use any lubricant, make sure it should be sperm-friendly as most of the lubes can damage sperm.

This is how the frequency of having sex affects the quality and quantity of sperm. So don’t overdo or under do it as well. Some couples may take 1-2 months while some take 6-8 months to conceive. So have sex regularly and enjoy your time.

BEST SEX POSITION

If you are talking about the sex position which helps to conceive faster, then there is nothing fully confirmed. There is no particular or specific position for this. Some say that the missionary position and doggy-style position are better for deeper penetration of sperm, and women on top and standing may decrease the chances because of gravity issues. But there is no research that confirms or denies this theory. All you need is to have sex near your ovulation time to increase your chances of pregnancy. And make sure your partner ejaculates fully into your vagina to increase the chances.

Just choose your favourite position in which you are comfortable rather than opting for an uncomfortable position. It is also suggested to lay in bed for 10-15 minutes after having sex. As sperms are very good swimmers, once it’s deposited in the vagina, it’ll reach the cervix within 15 minutes.

MAINTAIN A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

It’s very important to keep an eye on your body weight and lifestyle, as these factors seriously affect your fertility. You need to check your weight and make sure you are not overweight or underweight, and try to maintain a healthy body weight. For that, it’s good to do exercise regularly, take proper supplements, drink plenty of water, eat well-balanced diet, and limit your caffeine intake. Smoking and alcohol also affect your fertility and sperm motility, which also reduce your chances of conceiving. Even if you conceive, it also affects your fetus’s development. So it’s best to avoid these things before trying to conceive.

Most of the time we either overdo or under do the things. In reality, you just need to balance everything and enjoy being healthy first of all. The more healthy you are, the easier it will be for you to conceive and bear changes during pregnancy. Ditch your bad habits and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

REDUCE YOUR STRESS

Some women get really stressed out to get pregnant or to track their ovulation time. But remember stress is the main culprit of many issues. Too much stress can affect your sleep as well as monthly cycle, which may also affect your fertile window. So just slow down and take care of your emotional and mental health. Exercise, yoga, and meditation will really help you relax and de-stress your mind. It’s more important to stay happy now and during pregnancy. Just go with the flow and enjoy this phase of conceiving as you can also try new poses and different ways to spice up your sex-life.

By staying happy and relaxed, you can actually increase your chances of pregnancy. Just don’t pressurize yourself and your partner, and show some patience, as it may take a few months especially if you are 30 above.
